“God has got your future covered”

This day was a very big and important day for me. We were having a session with Pastor John, In the Footsteps of a Prophet. At that time I was concerned about what my future was looking like and questioning what I am going to do in the future. I told Pastor John before, that I wanted to be a tattoo artist before I came to MiXchange and I was feeling conflicted with what my creativity was meant to be used for.
In the session, he was in the middle of teaching on the book, “In the footsteps of a prophet” by Jerry Savelle. He stopped and told me that God has called my creative ability to serve Him and that my creative talent isn’t meant for the world but it’s meant for the church and for Him.
After that day, I haven’t questioned or worried about my future, I haven’t even thought about what I’m going to do. It is just me and God in this.
"I've just gotten started with you"
This was an awesome moment while we were on the Footsteps to Destiny tour. It was our last night in Mapungubwe and we were having a night session with Pastor John by the fire under the baobab tree. It was quite chilly and there were hyenas walking around us while Pastor John was talking, but we couldn’t see them so it was a bit creepy, but I actually wanted to see them because I had asked God to see a hyena on the trip because they are one of my favourite animals and I had never seen one before. I was sitting in the back row which consisted of three people because the space in front was filled. While Pastor John was teaching we heard noises next to us, about 20m away from us, maybe less, and while we were looking in that direction, Pastor John called for me, “Where’s Jade?”, so I put my hand up. To put it short he said that God has just gotten started with me.
It’s quite amazing because a little while before that, that same day I was thinking if this is all that I am going to do with my life and if there is anything more for me to do here. I’ve noticed that God reassures me a lot. I may know the answer myself but I do actually like to have reassurance with things that are going on with me in my life, so I really enjoy hearing from Him with these things that are about my future and how I am feeling on situations that’s going on in my emotions and in my life.
